Gen Art presents Fresh Faces in Fashion Spring/Summer 2016 Runway Show Competition

Gen Art Presents the 20th anniversary installment of Fresh Faces in Fashion runway competition during NYFW Spring/Summer 2016 a Pier 59 Studios in Chelsea. For 20 years Gen Art has showcased new emerging talent to industry elite, and members of the press. This season, the finalists were selected out of about 1,000 submissions globally. Each sent 12 looks down the runway. One winner is to be selected to receive a 1-year incubation with Gen Art. 

House of Cannon a Sydney based label was launched in 2013 by designer Annie Cannon-Brookes. Annie infuse her signature digital prints and graphics inspired from her travels into eye catching silhouette with use of bold color to create her custom designs. 

ADA+NIK is a London base tech-advanced dark matter contemporary menswear line. Design duo Ada Zanditon and Nik Thakkar uses intricate technical details with innovative materials like hydrophobic cotton, bi-product leather, and other sustainable fabrics to create their looks. Inspired by Greco Roman Punk, and  pre industrial revolution, their all black collection had a dark feel making the brand unique in men's fashion. 

Daniel Silverstain
Daniel Silverstain is a New York base designer, that is quickly gaining industry recognition. Inspired by retro futurism, Daniel's innovative creations are sophisticated and have an architectural feel. By exploring textiles and simplified shapes in an era of high technology, Daniel's creations stand out and speaks volumes.
