In its' fourth year the Latinista Collections produced and owned by special events PR firm, Dee & Co. Group, is one of many growing platforms for emerging designers during New York Fashion Week. This year Latinista Spring Summer 2016 Collections showcased two New York base designers Milagros Batista for Batista Collections and CZAR by Cesar Galindo.
Dominican born Milagros Batista is a knitwear designer. Milagros handmade crochet and knitwear pieces are feminine, innovative, youthful and sexy. Inspired by the spectacular colors of the Flamboyan tree, the collections feature natural colors of grays, creamy tans, and salmon.
CZAR by Cesar Galindo is a contemporary dress collection with soft separate components and varied edgy statement pieces. The collection consisted of rich colors in lemon lime, fuchsia, purple, indigo and TECHNO floral prints in beautiful matte jerseys, and fluid crinkle chiffon, and crotchet lace and tie dye fringe.
Celebrity attendees include, actress Teyonah Parris best know for her role as Dawn Chamber in the AMC drama Mad Men, and the Prancing Elites Oxygen TV.
