Tadashi Shoji spring 2013 collection was famine, light, and down right pretty. Beautiful lace, printed silk chiffon's and Georgette dresses floated down the runway taking you around the globe. Inspired by his travels, the designer had beautiful embroideries, ikat-prints, and cut works inspired by Venice, Kazakhstan, the Gobi Desert, and the ancient capital city of Xi’an in China. The colors were gorgeous hues of blue, red, green, purple, nude/beige and black. The silhouettes were simple, but the fabrics, workmanship and artistry in each piece added a timelessness, elegance, and beauty that is transcendental.
