Ann Yee Fall/Winter 2014 Collection - Modern Nomad

"Urban Perfection" is the words I am using to describe Ann Yee Fall/Winter 2014 collection. Presented at the Sun West Studios on February 5th in NYC, the collection is inspired by the idea of the Urban Nomad and celebrates the adventurous spirit/traveler. With a minimalist color plate of black, grey, and ivory, Ann plays with texture and layering accentuated with faux fur and vegan leather. There were also pops of color such as pine, rust, violet, and blue which added more depth and interest to the collection. Stand outs are the sweater dress with the fur cuff, and the oversize sweaters and jackets. The pieces looked comfortable, easy to wear, and yet modish full of style.
